A lively and committed group of volunteers has undertaken an ongoing after-school program, in conjunction with the Palisades Park school system, that is focusing on helping immigrant children improve English language skills, as well as literacy. The program is also helping immigrant high school students in Pal Park learn how to apply to college. As interest in the programs expands, CoFiA is looking for more volunteers.
